Android used on phones, tablets of different manufacturer, Android TV, Google-Glass and many more. iOS used on iPhone, iPad, iPad touch, Apple TV.
Android support 3rd party Apps but iOS not support 3rd party Apps. Google play store is the largest App store for android apps where you can get more than 1.6 million android apps. Apple’s app store is the second largest app store where you can get more than 1.5 million iOS apps.
Android 6.0.1 is the latest stable version of Android which is known as Marshmallow. iOS 9.3 is the latest stable version of iOS which released on March 2016. There are various manufacturer of Android such as Google, Sony, LG, Samsung, HTC, Motorola etc. And apple is the only manufacturer of iOS.
Android is the most growing and popular OS in the world and it has a large number of developer. In United state iOS is the leading mobile OS it has also a good developing environment. Android has less secure than iOS because many 3rd party apps has malware or bug.
Android support more than 32 languages and iOS support 34 languages for better user environment.
For developer android is the best OS because developer download Android and Android SDK without paying any fee. And publisher need to pay $25 one time registration fee for publishing apps on Google Play store.
On the other hand developers must pay $99/year for accessing iOS SDK and Apps publishing on Apple App store. Although Android SDK works on both Windows and Mac but iOS SDK only works on Mac operating System.
So we see many different features of iOS and Android operating System and both OS has some pros and cons. Both of OS are goods at different perspective.
